An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Lasso in the 5th minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Gavino Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Don Malbec's Camilo Sexto in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Yaji FC's goalie prevented a goal. Basilio Sauveur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erasmo Blasi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Camilo Sexto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Ted Lasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Rogelio Jenaro made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Sauveur. Don Malbec's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Gavino Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Sexto, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. But to his dismay, Camilo Sexto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 40th minute, Carlos Acuña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Sexto came free, but Gavino Bras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Yaji FC defense, Ted Lasso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Bras. The Yaji FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Bras should have stopped the shot. Ted Lasso took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gavino Bras. Gavino Bras dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Camilo Sexto made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Sexto in the 53rd minute of play forced Yaji FC's goalkeeper Gavino Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Erasmo Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Erasmo Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yaji FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Blasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Basilio Sauveur came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Yaji FC's Danilo Christobal. But to his dismay, Danilo Christobal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Basilio Sauveur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Jenaro in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Jenaro in the 66th minute of play forced Don Malbec's goalkeeper Basilio Sauveur to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Camilo Sexto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gavino Bras. Camilo Sexto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. In the 70th minute Camilo Sexto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gavino Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd minute of the match, Ted Lasso got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gavino Bras was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gavino Bras came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Don Malbec's Ted Lasso. But to his dismay, Ted Lasso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. With his leg Gavino Bras managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Don Malbec's Ted Lasso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gavino Bras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ted Lasso in the 80th minute of play. Gavino Bras showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Sexto in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 84th minute Erasmo Blasi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Sauveur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramon Nafarroa during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yaji FC booed when Don Malbec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th match minute, Don Malbec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Nafarroa to maneuver through the defense. Gavino Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Sexto, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Erasmo Blasi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yaji FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Blasi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basilio Sauveur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 97 minutes into the match, Yaji FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Lasso came free, but Gavino Bras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
