The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severino Malvin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Ciro Sugar got a free kick in the 20th minute. When Julián Alvarez came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Los Hornos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julián Alvarez couldn't finish the play. Aureliano Oroitz's late challenge caught a FC Ferrauda's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aureliano Oroitz helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Aureliano Oroitz got a free kick in the 28th minute. Severino Malvin might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Epifanio Laurendi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severino Malvin ran back to his position shaking his head. Baltasar Rudolfo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Vinicio Christobal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Timoteo Lando. FC Ferrauda's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Epifanio Laurendi was a little too slow when Severino Malvin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-1. Timoteo Lando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julián Alvarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute.

Los Hornos made a substitution. Wilfredo Innocenzio replaced Vinicio Christobal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Severino Malvin made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Severino Malvin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Laurendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Rudolfo lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of FC Ferrauda:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Los Hornos:s goal. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Los Hornos's Florentino Millano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Timoteo Lando. 91 minutes into the match, Los Hornos's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Malvin came free, but Epifanio Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
