Walter Abacha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Socorro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustaquio Omero's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Los Hornos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Jeraldo to maneuver through the defense. Roberto Iruinea charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roberto Iruinea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Roberto Iruinea kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Gualterio Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcos Jaen during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 29 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Jaen. In the 32nd minute, Dario Celipe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ignacio Arnas kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Julián Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julián Alvarez in the 38th minute of play forced Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Gualterio Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julián Alvarez took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Socorro. Gualterio Socorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Epifanio Laurendi made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Lucio Caetano sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Nouvelle Vague's Lucio Caetano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Epifanio Laurendi. That made the score 1-1 after 45 minutes of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Anastasio Vitin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 57 minutes into the match. Los Hornos's Wilfredo Innocenzio was substituted for Ignacio Ebardo. 56 minutes into the game, one of Nouvelle Vague:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Nouvelle Vague:s Gualterio Socorro showed great skill when he stopped Florentino Millano:s penalty. Walter Abacha struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Epifanio Laurendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nouvelle Vague. In the 70th minute, Florentino Millano made a precise shot to the right of Gualterio Socorro. Nouvelle Vague's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Eustaquio Omero came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gualterio Socorro could save by the left post. Eustaquio Omero took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gualterio Socorro. Gualterio Socorro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julián Alvarez in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gualterio Socorro saved Nouvelle Vague from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Julián Alvarez got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Epifanio Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walter Abacha in the 84th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Leandro Guib got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 minutes of play, Nouvelle Vague's Walter Abacha made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Epifanio Laurendi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Los Hornos were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nouvelle Vague's much stronger midfield.
