When Victorio Argoitz came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the CENTAURO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorio Argoitz couldn't finish the play. Victorio Argoitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Los Hornos booed when CENTAURO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Frances didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eustaquio Omero's late challenge caught a CENTAURO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The corner led CENTAURO's Amadeo Abecia to fire away a dangerous shot which Everardo Francho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Siro Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Oroitz in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Victorio Argoitz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 61 played minutes Los Hornos got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Iruinea. CENTAURO's Patricio Tiso was substituted for Ovidio Rivero. After a rather tough play, Los Hornos's Roberto Iruinea got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A collision led to CENTAURO getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Angel Abella hit a great ball. In the 65th minute Juan Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Cordeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 67 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's Gogo Hanot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Everardo Francho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Everardo Francho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Abella in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes CENTAURO got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Frances. After 81 minutes of play Los Hornos's Florentino Elivareo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. With a little luck, Los Hornos's Everardo Francho got control of the ball when Ceferino Frances tried to sneak it across the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Pastor Valery was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CENTAURO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Hornos the free kick. After 85 played minutes, Los Hornos's Pedro Pierres shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Siro Cordeiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Los Hornos reached it. 86 minutes into the match, CENTAURO's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Oroitz came free, but Siro Cordeiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Pedro Pierres managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Hornos's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Pierres was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Cordeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siro Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Oroitz in the 89th minute of play. Everardo Francho made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gogo Hanot sent off a good shot on target. Siro Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juan Bautista in the 93rd minute of the match. CENTAURO were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
