Gualterio Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Roldanillo in the 3rd minute of the match. Paulo Eron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gualterio Socorro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Nouvelle Vague defense, Constantino Jerrold kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Socorro. The Nouvelle Vague fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Socorro should have stopped the shot. After 17 minutes of play, Nouvelle Vague's Lucio Caetano made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Claudio Frasquito was left in no man's land by his defense there! 20 minutes into the match, Nouvelle Vague's goalkeeper Gualterio Socorro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Constantino Jerrold. After a rather tough play, ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Constantino Jerrold got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute Nouvelle Vague were awarded a corner. Ignacio Arnas went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Nouvelle Vague's Ignacio Arnas to fire away a dangerous shot which Claudio Frasquito despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 30th minute, ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣'s Lázaro Roldanillo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualterio Socorro. Gualterio Socorro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. In the 33rd minute, one of ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣. When Nouvelle Vague's Lucio Caetano in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Nouvelle Vague's Gualterio Socorro got control of the ball when Constantino Jerrold tried to sneak it across the goal line. With 41 minutes on the clock, Luisito Bernal commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. A collision led to Nouvelle Vague getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Luisito Bernal hit a great ball. Paulo Eron recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Gualterio Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Eron, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After 51 played minutes ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Mano. In the 68th minute Teodosio Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualterio Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gualterio Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Beltran in the 73rd minute of play. Ignacio Arnas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 87th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The supporters of ♣ Natural Mystic OFF ♣ booed when Nouvelle Vague was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucio Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes into the game, Constantino Jerrold cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Gualterio Socorro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
