DAMIAN TEAM's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Desiderio Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joaquin Quintin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Procopio in the 14th minute of play forced DAMIAN TEAM's goalkeeper Saverio Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Van Field's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Van Field in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saverio Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the DAMIAN TEAM defense, Van Field kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Saverio Torres. The DAMIAN TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Saverio Torres should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Van Field put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Saverio Torres. Saverio Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Van Field went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. If Joaquin Quintin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's Edgard Quintan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saverio Torres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Van Field's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes DAMIAN TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Lugo. DAMIAN TEAM's Saverio Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Quintan in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Van Field notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of DAMIAN TEAM's Saverio Torres. Saverio Torres was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The wind increased when Van Field made the kick off in the second half. When Gilberto Teyo fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored DAMIAN TEAM's protests and gave Gilberto Teyo a yellow card for diving instead. Gilberto Teyo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Van Field in the 55th minute of play forced DAMIAN TEAM's goalkeeper Saverio Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SOUTH THUNDER booed when DAMIAN TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Faustino Lugo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Van Field came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Van Field couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Van Field fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Saverio Torres, passed just outside the right post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Van Field in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Torres saved DAMIAN TEAM from getting behind. 82 minutes into the match, SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Saverio Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, DAMIAN TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Van Field came free, but Saverio Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfonso Endira's late challenge caught a SOUTH THUNDER's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfonso Endira helped the player get up and apologised. Alfonso Endira hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. When Van Field came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Van Field couldn't finish the play. 90 minutes into the game, Van Field lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Saverio Torres. When SOUTH THUNDER's Van Field in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the final whistle sounded SOUTH THUNDER left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than DAMIAN TEAM.
