Garcilaso Garcha scored 0-1 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mo Chen Yang, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cristian Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Bernardo Peter recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Sarracino. Bernardo Peter showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. In the 40th minute, Ignacio Durazno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mo Chen Yang was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. River Plate.'s Isaac Fortun quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marciano Txartiko, made in the 45th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aquilino Argoitz made a kick off. Mo Chen Yang made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignacio Durazno in the 51st minute. Lagrima en Jarrita's Daniel Sarracino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melchor Havier in the 53rd minute of play. Mo Chen Yang made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Garcilaso Garcha sent off a good shot on target. Ignacio Durazno's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mo Chen Yang firmly grabbed it by the left post. 58 minutes into the match, River Plate.'s goalkeeper Mo Chen Yang had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Garcilaso Garcha. In the 60th minute Cristian Evangelista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Sarracino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Sarracino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Peter in the 62nd minute of play. River Plate.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andres Gai in the 63rd minute. The corner ended in Andres Gai almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Lagrima en Jarrita's Daniel Sarracino did a great save. Cristian Evangelista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 played minutes Lagrima en Jarrita got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Pagomari. In the 68th minute of the match Andres Gai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Daniel Sarracino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the last second Mo Chen Yang throw himself and got hold of the ball when Homero Simpson in the 80thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 83 minutes into the game, Marciano Txartiko threw the ball into play from the sideline. River Plate.'s Andres Gai quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Daniel Sarracino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Evangelista, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Mo Chen Yang made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Aquilino Argoitz sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to River Plate. getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cristian Evangelista hit a great ball. After some careless play in the River Plate. defense, Garcilaso Garcha kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mo Chen Yang. The River Plate. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mo Chen Yang should have stopped the shot. Isaac Fortun kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Lagrima en Jarrita's Jonas Merexildo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Lagrima en Jarrita players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
