Mo Chen Yang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With a little luck, Characate FC's Benjamin Price got control of the ball when Cristian Evangelista tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Marcos Mederi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Characate FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcos Mederi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mo Chen Yang breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 13 minutes into the match, River Plate.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Mederi came free, but Mo Chen Yang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mo Chen Yang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Mederi in the 15th minute of play. Anibal Camerino's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Evangelista in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Price prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
The wind increased when Bernardo Peter made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes River Plate. got a freekick which was hit by Isaac Fortun. In the 54th minute, Anibal Camerino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Characate FC booed when River Plate. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Raphael didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Primitivo Brun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Characate FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ernesto Txanton hit a great ball.
