Grosso United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Pietro to make the kick off. With a little luck, Grosso United's Saturnino Romo got control of the ball when Maximiliano Rey tried to sneak it across the goal line. This resulted in a 2-2 score and a disappointed Saturnino Romo as he didn't even see the shot coming. 2-3 became the score in the 80th minute when Uriel Txordon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 84th minute Marcelino Afonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saturnino Romo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grosso United's Saturnino Romo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Medina Bello in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hilario Avellaneda during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Grosso United booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. With 94 minutes on the clock, Horacio Procopio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Grosso United! RIVER's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
