Joaquin George showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Medardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Lorenzo Fe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zacarias Abreu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Norberto Medardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquin George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Medardo in the 24th minute of the match. Joaquin George was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gaufred Betanzos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 26 minute of play. Joaquin George showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Norberto Medardo in the 30th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Alonzo Oxel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joaquin George quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Norberto Medardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Norberto Medardo lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Joaquin George. Norberto Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Joaquin George tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lorenzo Fe was the one to do the kick off. Serafino Stanislao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joaquin George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Medardo in the 67th minute of play. Norberto Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Norberto Medardo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin George was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Norberto Medardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin George having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Norberto Medardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin George. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Medardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 82nd minute Gaufred Betanzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin George saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Zacarias Abreu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Norberto Medardo in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin George saved Dep Colonia Avellaneda from getting behind. Joaquin George didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Norberto Medardo went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Dep Colonia Avellaneda's zone, Gaufred Betanzos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquin George came out of the goal and Gaufred Betanzos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. There was no doubt that Black Rose 1979 were the better team. Black Rose 1979's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
