With a couple of smart ball manuevers Igor Panchovski in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustavo Galindo saved Candelaria FC from getting behind. The Dep Colonia Avellaneda fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Igor Panchovski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Panchovski in the 17th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Panchovski came free, but Gustavo Galindo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Dep Colonia Avellaneda booed when Candelaria FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Kelemen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Candelaria FC defense, Igor Panchovski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Galindo. The Candelaria FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Galindo should have stopped the shot. 36 minutes into the match, Igor Panchovski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustavo Galindo. Candelaria FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Igor Panchovski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Octavio Sesuldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gustavo Galindo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. After 42 played minutes Candelaria FC got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Kelemen. Gustavo Galindo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Panchovski in the 45th minute of the match. The Candelaria FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Dep Colonia Avellaneda were winning 0-4.

If Marco Peli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Candelaria FC's Marco Peli fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. 71 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goal looked a bit too open when Aureliano Izotz came free, but Joaquin George reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Gustavo Galindo managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Igor Panchovski fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 76th minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Igor Panchovski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gustavo Galindo. Gustavo Galindo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. If Delmar Kelemen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Igor Panchovski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aureliano Izotz in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquin George prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Fe in the 95th minute of play forced Candelaria FC's goalkeeper Gustavo Galindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Candelaria FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dep Colonia Avellaneda's performance. The match ended with a win for Dep Colonia Avellaneda.
