Spectators: 144 (Terracing: 109, Seating: 33, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benito Naldo started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Anacleto Lawrence hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alejandro Gervaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benito Naldo in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Copetonas AFC's Apolo Lizbeth dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The supporters of Copetonas AFC booed when Madison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastián Boselli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Rafe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Walme in the 25th minute of play. Madison's defense didn't have a chance, in the 32nd minute, when Apolo Lizbeth scored to the left of an out of position Severiano Rafe, making the score, 2-1. With an all-out effort, Copetonas AFC's Severiano Rafe threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vinicio Walme, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 44 minutes into the match, Copetonas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Naldo came free, but Alejandro Gervaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vinicio Walme was the one to do the kick off. If Hernan Uzuri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 55th minute Vinicio Walme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severiano Rafe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas AFC's zone, Humberto Eliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Gervaso came out of the goal and Humberto Eliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The throw-in from Gregorio Jerold in the 60th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Madison's Domingo Vedillo. A collision led to Madison getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Camilo Peru hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Madison got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Vedillo. Severiano Rafe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vinicio Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute, Faustino Avellaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Walme in the 78th minute of play forced Madison's goalkeeper Severiano Rafe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Rafe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Apolo Lizbeth in the 85th minute of the match. Humberto Eliu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Gervaso having to interfere. After some careless play in the Copetonas AFC defense, Hernan Uzuri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alejandro Gervaso. The Copetonas AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alejandro Gervaso should have stopped the shot. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
