The La Acade fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nestor Socorro should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute Baltasar Froylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Froylan in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Socorro saved La Acade from getting behind. Nestor Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roque Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Acratas Unidos's Ciro Tello got control of the ball when Gerardo Sedeni tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nestor Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Froylan in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when La Acade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Raebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Nicolas Irrintzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Socorro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Acratas Unidos were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marco Indar made the kick off in the second half. La Acade's Nestor Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolas Irrintzi in the 51st minute of play. Roque Servando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Nestor Socorro made a huge save. Nestor Socorro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolas Irrintzi in the 62nd minute of play. Daniel Mendez kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Acratas Unidos booed when La Acade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Gaitan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Socorro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Irrintzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Acratas Unidos's Baltasar Froylan got a free kick in the 72nd minute. When Eustacio Gaitan came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the La Acade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustacio Gaitan couldn't finish the play. Nestor Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolas Irrintzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Erdiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ciro Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, La Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Servando came free, but Nestor Socorro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Acratas Unidos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than La Acade throughout the match.
