After 4 minutes of play, Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Celedonio Teofilio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rene Bermund was left in no man's land by his defense there! Steve Hyuga hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Paulino Lain recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rene Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Teofilio in the 9th minute of play. In the 12th minute Celedonio Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Patricio Asur fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's protests and gave Patricio Asur a yellow card for diving instead. Rene Bermund made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Baldomiro Martxot sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Paulino Lain sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Urko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Celedonio Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rene Bermund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute Baldomiro Martxot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rene Bermund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Martxot in the 31st minute of play. Celedonio Teofilio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Rene Bermund 32 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute Steve Hyuga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalkeeper Rene Bermund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Hyuga. Rene Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celedonio Teofilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celedonio Teofilio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Rene Bermund skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's Steve Hyuga managed to work through Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Steve Hyuga dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Steve Hyuga to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Steve Hyuga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celedonio Teofilio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rene Bermund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Evelio Orlin got a free kick in the 56th minute. Rene Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomiro Martxot, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Celedonio Teofilio scored 4-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Bermund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC defense, Celedonio Teofilio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rene Bermund. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rene Bermund should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute, Steve Hyuga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Bermund was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. 78 minutes into the match, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Teofilio came free, but Rene Bermund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rene Bermund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Hyuga in the 79th minute of the match. Baldomiro Martxot scored 7-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rene Bermund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 87th minute, Celedonio Teofilio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rene Bermund was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. After a rather tough play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Evelio Orlin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rene Bermund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celedonio Teofilio went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. There was no doubt that Defensores del Tiki Tiki were the better team. Defensores del Tiki Tiki's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
