In the 12thth minute of the game Gerardo Etxepare who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Victorica AFC's Jonas Lertxun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evelio Orlin in the 13th minute of play forced Victorica AFC's goalkeeper Jonas Lertxun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Paulino Lain kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jonas Lertxun. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Rene Bermund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Siekierka, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. A collision led to Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Marcelino Palban hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Marcin Siekierka's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Bermund was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcin Siekierka to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcin Siekierka's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Bermund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Evelio Orlin hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. The supporters of Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC booed when Victorica AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vilhelm Haström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorica AFC's Jonas Lertxun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Etxepare in the 60th minute of play. After 61 minutes Victorica AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gerardo Etxepare who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Gerardo Etxepare almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Victorica AFC's Jonas Lertxun did a great save. After 62 minutes of play, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's Gerardo Etxepare made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Lertxun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, Gerardo Etxepare ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Lertxun was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Jonas Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Etxepare, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Jonas Lertxun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eloy Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Astor Rainerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pascual Locaio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 82 minutes into the match, Victorica AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Etxepare came free, but Jonas Lertxun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Maties received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Rene Bermund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Locaio's late challenge caught a Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pascual Locaio helped the player get up and apologised. The Barbieri de Ituzaingó FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
