The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfonso Valentine made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Ivan Vistruario sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mala Lech didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Vistruario took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfonso Valentine. Alfonso Valentine dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Salbatore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Enol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute, LA LUZ F.C.'s Ivan Vistruario ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alfonso Valentine. Alfonso Valentine yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Luis Pintos Saldanha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Javier Enol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Chap in the 29th minute of play. Simon Hechter hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 33rd minute by Simon Hechter got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alfonso Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Vistruario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. LA LUZ F.C.'s Ivan Vistruario suffered a sore thigh after 40 minutes and couldn't finish the game. German Guillem charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed German Guillem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. LA LUZ F.C.'s Patricio Sal was substituted for Ivan Vistruario. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 39th minute of the game. One of RED DEVIL:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LA LUZ F.C.:s goal. Alfonso Valentine had in the 42ndth minute some difficulties stopping Mala Lech's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alfonso Valentine came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by LA LUZ F.C.'s Patricio Sal. But to his dismay, Patricio Sal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciriaco Cayo made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ciriaco Cayo during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 50 played minutes RED DEVIL got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Cayo. When Patricio Sal came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the LA LUZ F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patricio Sal couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in RED DEVIL's zone, Patricio Sal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Valentine came out of the goal and Patricio Sal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Javier Enol made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justino Matteo in the 58th minute. Pablo Chap came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Javier Enol could save by the left post. 60 minutes into the game, Teo Chale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RED DEVIL's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA LUZ F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, RED DEVIL's Teo Chale got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind RED DEVIL's goalkeeper Alfonso Valentine, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 65th minute Patricio Sal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of RED DEVIL booed when LA LUZ F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Guillen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Bertran hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the game, LA LUZ F.C.'s Patricio Sal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfonso Valentine made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Patricio Sal scored 8-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Valentine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonso Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Sal, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The audience was convinced that Patricio Sal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Valentine was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. After 87 played minutes LA LUZ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mala Lech. After 90 minutes of play, LA LUZ F.C.'s Patricio Sal made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfonso Valentine was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, RED DEVIL's Leonel Enaut got a free kick in the 93rd minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Patricio Sal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LA LUZ F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Sal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
