With a little luck, Velezcamp's Virgilio Koldo got control of the ball when Higinio Procopio tried to sneak it across the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudio Mon couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Higinio Procopio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Velezcamp's German Tavio got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Procopio in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virgilio Koldo saved Velezcamp from getting behind. Velezcamp's Julian Abaunza pulled a muscle in his back after 65 minutes and couldn't finish the game.
