The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Roberto Martxot was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 4 minutes into the match. In the 4th minute, one of MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22. Florentino Guillen had in the 7thth minute some difficulties stopping Mariano Peyo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Florentino Guillen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Asier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Gaspar Sabin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th match minute, Leones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mariano Peyo to maneuver through the defense. Growling Dolar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aureliano Obeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Growling Dolar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute Leonardo Poz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Guillen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 24 minutes, Aureliano Obeko successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th minute, Growling Dolar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aureliano Obeko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Growling Dolar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leones FC's goalkeeper Aureliano Obeko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Leones FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Gaspar Sabin hit a great ball. Marcelo Delgado kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Mariano Peyo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florentino Guillen showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Growling Dolar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Ignacio Noe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Growling Dolar in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's protests and gave Aaron Caton a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64thth minute of the game Growling Dolar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Leones FC's Aureliano Obeko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Growling Dolar in the 67th minute of play. MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's Calle Örnberg quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Dante Mannie, made in the 68th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Growling Dolar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aureliano Obeko was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. 74 minutes into the match, MDP ES TRICOLOR Q22's goal looked a bit too open when Leonardo Poz came free, but Florentino Guillen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Martin Asier took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Florentino Guillen to make any attempt to save it. Leonardo Poz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Florentino Guillen made a huge save. Marcelo Delgado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Leones FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leones FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
