Epifanio Orzaize came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Escocia's Filiberto Tolino. But to his dismay, Filiberto Tolino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Nahas in the 27th minute of play forced No vino el 5's goalkeeper Epifanio Orzaize to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Club Atlético Escocia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Tolino to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Club Atlético Escocia's Jeronimo Mon got control of the ball when Gaspar Urre tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Escocia's Facundo Nahas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Epifanio Orzaize made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 34th minute, Clemente Oroitz made a precise shot to the right of Epifanio Orzaize. No vino el 5's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Epifanio Orzaize came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Escocia's Facundo Nahas. But to his dismay, Facundo Nahas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Epifanio Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Oroitz in the 41st minute of play. After 47 minutes, Daryl Adcock mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Escocia and the No vino el 5 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Escocia's Daryl Adcock got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48thth minute of the game Patricio Sengrat who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Escocia's Jeronimo Mon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After the first half Club Atlético Escocia were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Facundo Nahas to make the kick off. Jeronimo Mon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Urre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, No vino el 5's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Ricart came free, but Epifanio Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Ricart made in the 77th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leonel Caponi however managed to control. The No vino el 5 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Epifanio Orzaize showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Astrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Club Atlético Escocia players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
