With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Caponi in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Romeri saved Bahía é Carnaval from getting behind. Narciso Sauveur hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Facundo Nahas to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Enrique Astrada sped through Bahía é Carnaval's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sergio Romeri.
