The supporters of Brujas KV booed when ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Aimar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Raimundo Felo came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cecilio Mantzio could save by the left post. In the 33rd minute, Adrian Naelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Merexildo's late challenge caught a ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mariano Merexildo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Brujas KV's Mariano Merexildo got a free kick in the 38th minute. When Astor Bero came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Bero couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Vetlesen during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Hugo Vetlesen hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Astor Bero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Servando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

55 minutes into the match, Brujas KV's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Bero came free, but Teodoro Servando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hans Vanacker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Felo in the 61st minute of play forced ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ's goalkeeper Cecilio Mantzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Brujas KV's Teodoro Servando got control of the ball when Eliseo Jenaro tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brujas KV's goalkeeper Teodoro Servando, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raimundo Felo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Cecilio Mantzio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brujas KV. When Isidoro Horado was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. A collision led to ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Isidoro Horado hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes ΚΛΚΞRΘS ᴾᴵᴬᴿᴬ got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Leguizamón. Cecilio Mantzio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hans Vanacker in the 82nd minute of the match. Raimundo Felo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cecilio Mantzio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hans Vanacker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
