The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Atilano Lohitzun hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Skirmantas Kadauskas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 12 played minutes El Imperio del Cuervo got a freekick which was hit by Christian Gil. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hector Markel in the 14th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Baltasar Valiente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atlético Montserrat's Baltasar Valiente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Markel in the 19th minute of play. Paulino Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Gurutz, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Atlético Montserrat's Baltasar Valiente played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Argi in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to El Imperio del Cuervo getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jeronimo Firme hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, El Imperio del Cuervo's goal looked a bit too open when Maximo Emeterio came free, but Paulino Onofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes in the game, Maximo Emeterio dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Fix in the 34th minute of play forced El Imperio del Cuervo's goalkeeper Paulino Onofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Niceto Tano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Imperio del Cuervo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Montserrat the free kick. After 38 played minutes El Imperio del Cuervo got a freekick which was hit by Niceto Tano. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Hector Markel took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Baltasar Valiente to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaias Gurutz made a kick off. Rogelio Luzea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hector Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Atlético Montserrat getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Martin Berdaitz hit a great ball. If Hector Markel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to El Imperio del Cuervo getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Skirmantas Kadauskas hit a great ball. Severo Cutberto kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Gogo Rivero hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Niceto Tano struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Baltasar Valiente didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Imperio del Cuervo. Baltasar Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Orlin, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Baltasar Valiente took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Markel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, El Imperio del Cuervo's Paulino Onofre got control of the ball when Cesar Ted tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute of the match Severo Cutberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulino Onofre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Severo Cutberto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Montserrat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Imperio del Cuervo the free kick. In the 76th minute, Severo Cutberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Atlético Montserrat's goal looked a bit too open when Placido Orlin came free, but Baltasar Valiente reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Gogo Rivero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 87 minutes, Jeronimo Firme managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Imperio del Cuervo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Firme was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 87 minutes of play Atlético Montserrat's Severo Cutberto was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 88th match minute, Atlético Montserrat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severo Cutberto to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Gurutz got free with Paulino Onofre in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. El Imperio del Cuervo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
