Baltasar Valiente came out of the goal and Lucio Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 played minutes CF Scalonetos got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Ieltxu. Abelardo Handi hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Lucio Abajas managed to get in a good position for a shot. CF Scalonetos's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucio Abajas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alejo Iraido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltasar Valiente read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Atlético Montserrat getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Abelardo Handi hit a great ball. Lucio Abajas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltasar Valiente having to make a save. In the 45th minute of the match, Maximo Emeterio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ahmed Long was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ahmed Long made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Maximo Emeterio sent off a good shot on target.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucio Abajas made a kick off. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Vicente Balesio got a free kick in the 54th minute. A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Erubiel Cerilo hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes, Atlético Montserrat's Martin Berdaitz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmed Long came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Atlético Montserrat reached it. Lucio Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. CF Scalonetos's Lucio Abajas got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Gurutz in the 73rd minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Ahmed Long to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmed Long took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Isaias Gurutz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ahmed Long made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Luzea in the 82nd minute of play. In the 83rd minute of the match Abelardo Handi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ahmed Long skillfully saved the ball. In the 85th minute Lucio Abajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baltasar Valiente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to CF Scalonetos getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Erubiel Cerilo hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Ted came free, but Ahmed Long reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Montserrat were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing CF Scalonetos to leave the ground with a draw.
