Baltasar Valiente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Argi, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Baltasar Valiente made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davi Vogler in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the game, Skirmantas Kadauskas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Imperio del Cuervo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atlético Montserrat the free kick. After 19 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for El Imperio del Cuervo! Hector Markel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Davi Vogler managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Imperio del Cuervo's supporters rose to their feet, but Davi Vogler was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltasar Valiente breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaias Gurutz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Isaias Gurutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Onofre was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. El Imperio del Cuervo's Paulino Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Berdaitz in the 64th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Tino during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Enrique Tino hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Hector Markel 69 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Ted in the 80th minute of play forced El Imperio del Cuervo's goalkeeper Paulino Onofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd minute, Severo Cutberto made a precise shot to the right of Paulino Onofre. El Imperio del Cuervo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 88 minutes into the game, Atlético Montserrat's Rogelio Luzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Paulino Onofre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The supporters of Atlético Montserrat booed when El Imperio del Cuervo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Tano didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th match minute, El Imperio del Cuervo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeronimo Firme to maneuver through the defense.
