Constantino Elija came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atlético Magallanes's Taci Argün. But to his dismay, Taci Argün quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Leandro Urbes kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Club Atlético Magallanes got a corner. Yalapa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mauro Lobo ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Yalapa's goalie and right to Romeo Etor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Yalapa's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 33rd minute, Augusto Xabier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Urbasa got free with Leon Oliverio in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Augusto Xabier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantino Elija. Yalapa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Augusto Xabier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Mauro Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 48 minutes into the match, Mauro Lobo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Constantino Elija. Yalapa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mauro Lobo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Armando Padro to strike the kick off in the second half. Danilo Ibon kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the game, Taci Argün cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Constantino Elija was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 69th minute, Taci Argün made a precise shot to the right of Constantino Elija. Yalapa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. Mauro Lobo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yalapa's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Augusto Xabier 79 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-7. A collision led to Club Atlético Magallanes getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Romeo Etor hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Yalapa's zone, Mauro Lobo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Elija came out of the goal and Mauro Lobo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Lobo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. Club Atlético Magallanes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Taci Argün received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Constantino Elija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
