Virgilio Sal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 63rdth minute of the game Timoteo Peru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maravilla's Virgilio Sal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mark Wenerdahl showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Frutos, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Virgilio Sal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Cheche in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edelmiro Cheche in the 76th minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Virgilio Sal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Virgilio Sal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edelmiro Cheche recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute Edelmiro Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgilio Sal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Berutti FC were the better team. Berutti FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
