After 19 minutes of play, Berutti FC's Edelmiro Cheche made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chiquinho Romero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chiquinho Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Cheche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Frontera AFC's Cristian Medina got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lucas Janson to make the kick off. Chiquinho Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 82nd minute Edelmiro Cheche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frontera AFC were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Berutti FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucas Janson took the corner. The corner ended in Lucas Janson almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Berutti FC's Mark Wenerdahl did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas Janson in the 86th minute of play forced Berutti FC's goalkeeper Mark Wenerdahl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Frontera AFC booed when Berutti FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Cheche didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Janson during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 95 played minutes Frontera AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Janson.
