Los Golosos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Paulin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Felipe Galtero's late challenge caught a Los Golosos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Felipe Galtero helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pink Floyd's Felipe Galtero got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-7 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

With a little luck, Pink Floyd's Fernando Gartxot got control of the ball when Cesar Montrell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pink Floyd's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Golosos the free kick.
