Dante Burutzagi's late challenge caught a Guiñazú FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vladimiro Gaizko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Piquirenda FC fully deserved thier win.
