But to his dismay, Delmiro Eate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. A collision led to Atlético Unión Florida getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Arianos DM's Hilario Venerando got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 29 minutes in the game Tomas Kummer did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Matias Hernandez. After having played for 33 minutes, Guaberto Furman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arianos DM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Furman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Unión Florida's zone, Guaberto Furman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Flores came out of the goal and Guaberto Furman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomas Kummer hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Atlético Unión Florida's Gaudencio Flores played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Belasko in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Teo Bidari made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Prospero Errapel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Guaberto Furman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaudencio Flores was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Leandro Fero kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Teo Bidari managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Unión Florida's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teo Bidari was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hilario Venerando fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arianos DM's protests and gave Hilario Venerando a yellow card for diving instead. Hilario Venerando hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, Arianos DM's Guaberto Furman made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Flores was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Arianos DM fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Arianos DM's Guaberto Furman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Augusto Batalla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Cordarryl in the 80th minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Guaberto Furman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arianos DM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. After some careless play in the Atlético Unión Florida defense, Guaberto Furman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaudencio Flores. The Atlético Unión Florida fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaudencio Flores should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Arianos DM had played much better football throughout.
