Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Tautvydas Mickevičius successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 10th minute of the match CeciForEver got a corner. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Anier Hartz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Anier Hartz made a great header on CeciForEver's corner, it was just that ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Tautvydas Mickevičius managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 20th minute CeciForEver were awarded a corner. Anier Hartz went to the cornerflag to take it. André Monclús sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Beti's late challenge caught a ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 24th minute André Monclús shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Camerino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Vicente Txomin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prospero Camerino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Carrillo in the 28th minute of play forced CeciForEver's goalkeeper Prospero Camerino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the CeciForEver defense, André Monclús kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Camerino. The CeciForEver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Camerino should have stopped the shot. Jairo Aznar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, CeciForEver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Aznar to maneuver through the defense. Prospero Camerino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Txomin in the 34th minute of play. Tautvydas Mickevičius made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Beti in the 38th minute. After some careless play in the CeciForEver defense, Primitivo Lano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Camerino. The CeciForEver fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Camerino should have stopped the shot. Tautvydas Mickevičius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Damario in the 46th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Damario made a kick off. Tautvydas Mickevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lisandro Daunte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Carrillo got free with Prospero Camerino in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Guido Carrillo hit a great ball. Prospero Camerino was a little too slow when André Monclús got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 73rd minute, Constantino Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pedro Pelayo hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 79th match minute, CeciForEver was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Ramirez to maneuver through the defense. André Monclús received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Prospero Camerino came out and tried to block the shot, but André Monclús slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 80th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by André Monclús in the 82nd minute of play forced CeciForEver's goalkeeper Prospero Camerino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of CeciForEver booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Monclús didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tautvydas Mickevičius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Damario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tautvydas Mickevičius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Anier Hartz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Camerino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Lano, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the match was over ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CeciForEver throughout the match.
