After 19 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's André Monclús made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The score was now 2-0. After a rather tough play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Celestino Selmo got a free kick in the 28th minute. Isaac Txema made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Carrillo in the 62nd minute of play.
