In the 18th minute, Waitakere F.C.'s Nunez Selmo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Jairo Feo hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. When Sportivo Luan Toro's Joel Rumaldo, in the 23rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Sportivo Luan Toro. Joaquin Mingo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Francesco in the 30th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Sportivo Luan Toro defense, Bernardo Fero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joaquin Mingo. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joaquin Mingo should have stopped the shot. Joaquin Mingo made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Bernardo Fero sent off a good shot on target. Bernardo Fero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Joaquin Mingo made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nunez Selmo got free with Joaquin Mingo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardo Fero in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Mingo saved Sportivo Luan Toro from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Rumaldo to make the kick off. Joaquin Mingo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Waitakere F.C.'s Santo Gonchan. But to his dismay, Santo Gonchan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Sportivo Luan Toro were furious when Domingo Valiente was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sportivo Luan Toro! Sportivo Luan Toro:s Joaquin Mingo showed great skill when he stopped Romero Cristian:s penalty. Erubiel Laurin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Benigno Niva made a huge save. Joaquin Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Selmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute.
