The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Mateo Rosario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domínguez AFC's Astor Rivas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Asier in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the Plumerillo defense, Humberto Hermon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorio Serafo. The Plumerillo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Serafo should have stopped the shot. After 14 played minutes Plumerillo got a freekick which was hit by Casimiro Asier. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Hermon in the 16th minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Honorio Serafo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Humberto Hermon made a precise shot to the right of Honorio Serafo. Plumerillo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Honorio Serafo made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Mateo Rosario sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Casimiro Asier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Astor Rivas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Rosario in the 27th minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Honorio Serafo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Hermon in the 28th minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Honorio Serafo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Humberto Hermon notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Plumerillo's Honorio Serafo. Honorio Serafo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Domínguez AFC's Humberto Hermon dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. Honorio Serafo made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Fidel Gaitano sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Hermon in the 45th minute of play forced Plumerillo's goalkeeper Honorio Serafo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Baldomiro Senio fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Domínguez AFC's protests and gave Baldomiro Senio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Baldomiro Senio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Plumerillo's Honorio Serafo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Hermon in the 51st minute of play. Plumerillo's Valentin Mergildo got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Domínguez AFC's Bartolo Karlo was substituted for Teofilo Dolcet. The Domínguez AFC fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Domínguez AFC's Mateo Rosario looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a defensive mix-up in Plumerillo's zone, Camal Räfiyev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Honorio Serafo came out of the goal and Camal Räfiyev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honorio Serafo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camal Räfiyev in the 81st minute of the match. Astor Rivas made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Nicasio Madaleno sent off a good shot on target. In the 92nd minute Plumerillo were awarded a corner. Casimiro Asier went to the cornerflag to take it. Casimiro Asier made a great header on Plumerillo's corner, it was just that Domínguez AFC's Astor Rivas managed to reach the ball for a save. Honorio Serafo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mateo Rosario's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Humberto Hermon scored 8-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorio Serafo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Domínguez AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
