Guillermo Manilan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Maximino Constancio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aquiles Meo's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victorino Gonchan got free with Laureano Prejun in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Maximino Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Braulio Chesus in the 14th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Hvalica in the 21st minute of play forced Vipos FC's goalkeeper Laureano Prejun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fred Alcântara could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Laureano Prejun made a huge save. Laureano Prejun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guillermo Manilan in the 32nd minute of play. Rodolfo Piearres hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Mario Hvalica came free with the goalkeeper in the 40th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Laureano Prejun could save by the left post. With his leg Laureano Prejun managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Club Deportivo Álvarez's Fred Alcântara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Laureano Prejun successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Álvarez's Alexis Santos got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Vipos FC's Aquiles Meo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 53rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Maximino Constancio but with some difficulty. In the 55th minute, Guillermo Manilan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Deportivo Álvarez fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. 61 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Gonchan came free, but Laureano Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Guillermo Manilan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Deportivo Álvarez's supporters rose to their feet, but Guillermo Manilan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Prejun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68thth minute of the game Fred Alcântara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vipos FC's Laureano Prejun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laureano Prejun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Hvalica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Araoz in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Club Deportivo Álvarez booed when Vipos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo Araoz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Guillermo Manilan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Laureano Prejun was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Meo got free with Maximino Constancio in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 minutes, Fred Alcântara made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Vipos FC's Laureano Prejun tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Vipos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Manilan came free, but Laureano Prejun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodrigo Araoz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maximino Constancio. That made the score 5-1 in the 88 minute of play. Club Deportivo Álvarez made a substitution. Mauro Oinatz replaced Henrik Larsson. Laureano Prejun came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Álvarez's Guillermo Manilan. But to his dismay, Guillermo Manilan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Vipos FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
