A nice corner shot did that Alexis Santos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Celestino Umea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Club Deportivo Álvarez booed when Black StarZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Frederico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Fred Alcântara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Álvarez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fred Alcântara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. One of Black StarZ:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Deportivo Álvarez:s goal. A collision led to Black StarZ getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Norberto Pinto hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute of the match Fred Alcântara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Umea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Black StarZ's Celestino Umea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Manilan in the 44th minute of play. Club Deportivo Álvarez's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Fred Alcântara in the 45th minute. Guillermo Manilan took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celestino Umea. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Guillermo Manilan was the one to do the kick off. Celestino Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorino Gonchan, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Celestino Umea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Manilan in the 61st minute of the match.
