Humberto Sotero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Txurio came free, but Humberto Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gualterio Enaut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 15 minutes into the game, El ABUELO FC's Sergio Txurio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orlando Rudolfo came out and tried to block the shot, but Casimiro Bihar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 19th minute. SuperChango's Humberto Sotero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Cordarin in the 27th minute of play. Humberto Sotero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Walt Samuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 40th minute Omar Quinton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Sotero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sergio Txurio made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Sergio Txurio made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Sotero. SuperChango's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 55 minutes into the match, SuperChango's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Txurio came free, but Humberto Sotero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SuperChango's Humberto Sotero got control of the ball when Alberto Etxekopar tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, El ABUELO FC's Sergio Txurio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Humberto Sotero. Humberto Sotero yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-5. But to his dismay, Omar Quinton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Humberto Sotero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walt Samuel in the 79th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Eduardo Luix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, El ABUELO FC's Omar Quinton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-8. SuperChango's Humberto Sotero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save SuperChango from getting a goal against them. When Jose Raebert fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ABUELO FC's protests and gave Jose Raebert a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of SuperChango booed when El ABUELO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Raebert didn't get a good kick on the ball. SuperChango's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Omar Quinton scored to the left of an out of position Humberto Sotero, making the score, 1-9. El ABUELO FC played a much better game than SuperChango and deserved their victory. The SuperChango players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
