Timo!'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardo Garin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rene Ilixo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Ladislao Maurino when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 22nd match minute, Timo! was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Warner Timo to maneuver through the defense. After 22 played minutes, El Azulgrana's 谢棋彬 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Roque Montes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Azulgrana reached it. Niguel Mansell hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Roque Montes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Garin in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd minute Rene Ilixo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ladislao Maurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 played minutes El Azulgrana got a freekick which was hit by 谢棋彬. Artemio Raphael charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artemio Raphael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Timo! getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Artemio Raphael hit a great ball. After 36 played minutes Timo! got a freekick which was hit by Aquiles Vargas. After some careless play in the Timo! defense, Ricardo Garin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Montes. The Timo! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Montes should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Timo!:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of El Azulgrana:s goal. After some careless play in the Timo! defense, 谢棋彬 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Roque Montes. The Timo! fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Roque Montes should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 谢棋彬 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as El Azulgrana's Donato Abarca slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roque Montes. That made the score 0-4 after 57 minutes of play. In the 60th minute Ricardo Garin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Montes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute of the match, Ricardo Garin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Roque Montes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The corner led El Azulgrana's Donato Abarca to fire away a dangerous shot which Roque Montes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Timo!'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 谢棋彬 was slow to take the kick. During this time El Azulgrana's players had a chance to rest. El Azulgrana's Donato Abarca got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 72nd play minute 谢棋彬 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Roque Montes. 0-5. Niguel Mansell struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ladislao Maurino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Timo!.
