An unexpectedly hard shot by Robustiano Vidal in the 11th minute of play forced Gasoleros FC's goalkeeper Donato Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 16 minutes, Pascual Vigil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverzone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pascual Vigil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gilberto Guerrero came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Gasoleros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gilberto Guerrero couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Lex Dewolf had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Eyague. Gasoleros FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lex Dewolf was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 35 minutes into the game, Gilberto Guerrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gasoleros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riverzone the free kick. The supporters of Riverzone booed when Gasoleros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Gasoleros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Robustiano Vidal came free, but Donato Eyague reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Isaac Peruanton made a kick off. Gilberto Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damaso Belmiro having to interfere. Robustiano Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Donato Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Riverzone's Denis Baumar got a free kick in the 59th minute. Haroldo Lizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Eyague having to interfere. The supporters of Riverzone booed when Gasoleros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Urdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Lex Dewolf managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riverzone's supporters rose to their feet, but Lex Dewolf was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Urdin kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Damaso Belmiro came out of the goal and Eleuterio Beliran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Riverzone getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Pascual Vigil hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Gasoleros FC's Gonzalo Urre got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 87th minute of the match, Robustiano Vidal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Donato Eyague was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 89th minute Pascual Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Lucas Burutzagi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gasoleros FC's Isaac Peruanton in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riverzone's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Riverzone eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
