In the 2ndth minute of the game Inocencio Corderall who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riverzone's Damaso Belmiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Hector Napier sped through Riverzone's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Damaso Belmiro. After 7 played minutes Lex Dewolf rounded BFC 1982's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 9th match minute, BFC 1982 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Oroitz to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, BFC 1982's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Pascual Vigil fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When Sergio Bingen fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riverzone's protests and gave Sergio Bingen a yellow card for diving instead. After 15 played minutes Riverzone got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Bingen. Abel Bordat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lex Dewolf in the 17th minute of play. Riverzone's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Inocencio Maurin in the 19th minute. Jonathan Oroitz tried in the 19th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Abel Bordat a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 2-1. 26 minutes into the game, Hector Napier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BFC 1982's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Riverzone the free kick. The supporters of Riverzone booed when BFC 1982 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Napier didn't get a good kick on the ball. A throw-in in the 30th minute of the game was made by Jonathan Oroitz with Nunez Jerico as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lex Dewolf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Zacarias Saturnin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riverzone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zacarias Saturnin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Belmiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Etxatxu in the 37th minute of play. Damaso Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ambrosio Etxatxu in the 38th minute of the match. Ambrosio Etxatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Damaso Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pascual Vigil came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Riverzone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascual Vigil couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Etxatxu to make the kick off. Gaston Sayveon hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Inocencio Corderall could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Damaso Belmiro however easily saved by the left post. Damaso Belmiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Napier, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Damaso Belmiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hector Napier in the 62nd minute. Abel Bordat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Vigil in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute Hector Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Belmiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Vigil charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pascual Vigil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Pascual Vigil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the match, Riverzone's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Napier came free, but Damaso Belmiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Riverzone getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Inocencio Maurin hit a great ball. Abel Bordat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the BFC 1982 defense, Lex Dewolf kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Bordat. The BFC 1982 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Bordat should have stopped the shot. Ambrosio Etxatxu succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. A collision led to BFC 1982 getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Inocencio Corderall hit a great ball. After 94 minutes of play BFC 1982's Hector Napier was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes BFC 1982 got a freekick which was hit by Hector Napier. Riverzone's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
