With a little luck, AC LeX Luthor's Thibaut Courtois got control of the ball when Hector Selmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Florentino Beliran hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hector Selmo got free with Thibaut Courtois in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thibaut Courtois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose Ponc in the 12th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Ioritz came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AC LeX Luthor's Thibaut Courtois proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save AC LeX Luthor from getting a goal against them. Zacarias Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gualterio Quilino struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Carolo Naelio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC LeX Luthor. Rodrigo Paublo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Naelio having to interfere. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Ioritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute of the match, Constantino Ekaitz tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thibaut Courtois saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Reynaldo Elivareo got a free kick in the 34th minute. Thibaut Courtois acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Eloy Alonso. AC LeX Luthor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Fortín de Floresta the free kick. In the 46th match minute, AC LeX Luthor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gualterio Quilino to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Zacarias Abecia got a free kick in the 48th minute. Thibaut Courtois was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. El Fortín de Floresta's Teofilo Rojelio was substituted for Nicanor Estefan. Thibaut Courtois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Rojelio, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 94 minutes of play, El Fortín de Floresta's Necaettin Sahir made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thibaut Courtois was left in no man's land by his defense there! AC LeX Luthor's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Selmo in the 97th minute of play. There was no doubt that El Fortín de Floresta were the better team. El Fortín de Floresta's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
