A hard shot 3 in the game by Blas Rozarius from a close distance when the talented Pascual Prejun managed to make a qualified save. Italia's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Ralondo in the 4th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Matheu City FC's Venancio Cresencio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pascual Prejun. That made the score 1-0 after 8 minutes of play. After 13 minutes of play, Matheu City FC's Venancio Cresencio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Prejun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciriaco Txatxu took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jacinto Leoiar. Jacinto Leoiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Jacinto Leoiar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciriaco Txatxu in the 19th minute of the match. With 20 minutes on the clock, Nicanor Costante commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Italia's Pascual Prejun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Italia from getting a goal against them. Pascual Prejun made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Blas Rozarius sent off a good shot on target. Ambrosio Umea might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pascual Prejun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrosio Umea ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustino Ralondo in the 36th minute of play forced Matheu City FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Leoiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Leoiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonardo Lartaun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Faustino Ralondo was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Matheu City FC's Luis Caetano got a free kick in the 54th minute. If Faustino Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Blas Rozarius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Prejun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes of play, Matheu City FC's Ambrosio Umea made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pascual Prejun was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacinto Leoiar was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Faustino Ralondo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Faustino Ralondo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dionisio Peruxu during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Italia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dionisio Peruxu to maneuver through the defense. In the 85th minute, Ciriaco Txatxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Matheu City FC's Aureliano Lorenz tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Matheu City FC had played much better football throughout.
