The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Fervent Stalkers booed when La France FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severo Ado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celedonio Lizardi hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. La France FC's Cleto Peru got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 22ndth minute of the game Leandro Cutberto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La France FC's Rolando Mitxel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Fervent Stalkers's Gonzalo Gorka got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, Fervent Stalkers's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Peru came free, but Augusto Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Beat hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Rolando Mitxel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rolando Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Demesio in the 60th minute of play. A well-hit corner resulted in Tobias Basajaun heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Severo Ado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Augusto Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rolando Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Cutberto in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, La France FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Basajaun came free, but Rolando Mitxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Celedonio Lizardi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 played minutes La France FC got a freekick which was hit by Dani Amato. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Etxatxu in the 80th minute of play forced La France FC's goalkeeper Rolando Mitxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, La France FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leandro Cutberto came free, but Rolando Mitxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Mitxel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Etxatxu in the 85th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Leandro Cutberto notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of La France FC's Rolando Mitxel. Rolando Mitxel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cleto Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Gaskon having to interfere. Fervent Stalkers's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
