MDQ Raptors FC's Ruperto Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Theodore in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Apolo Raulo in the 33rd minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Ruperto Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruperto Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Poncio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, MDQ Raptors FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Botello to maneuver through the defense. Ruperto Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Poncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 45th minute, Apolo Raulo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jefferson Linhares's late challenge caught a El retorno del Pincha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jefferson Linhares helped the player get up and apologised. Jefferson Linhares hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. 50 minutes into the match, MDQ Raptors FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santos Poncio came free, but Ruperto Bastia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute El retorno del Pincha were awarded a corner. Jairo Theodore went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Jairo Theodore almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but MDQ Raptors FC's Ruperto Bastia did a great save. In the 55th minute Jairo Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 57th minute, Amador Harriet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to MDQ Raptors FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Amador Harriet hit a great ball. Santos Poncio took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Bastia. Ruperto Bastia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Higinio Tximitx blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roy Peto having to make a save. The supporters of El retorno del Pincha booed when MDQ Raptors FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Tximitx didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairo Theodore in the 92nd minute of play forced MDQ Raptors FC's goalkeeper Ruperto Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The MDQ Raptors FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching El retorno del Pincha's performance. The match ended with a win for El retorno del Pincha.
