Valentin Egun hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Jarbas Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarbas Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jarbas Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Humberto Orland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilber McDonald in the 15th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Jarbas Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Orland was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Augusto Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Udalaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pastor Mino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of ..Villa Rugby Club.. booed when Pegaso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Tabor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Jarbas Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilber McDonald in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Humberto Orland saved ..Villa Rugby Club.. from getting behind. Pastor Mino made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Augusto Udalaitz sent off a good shot on target. In the 46th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilber McDonald to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute Lucas Langoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pastor Mino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ..Villa Rugby Club.. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pegaso were winning 0-1.

Pegaso's Pastor Mino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Udalaitz in the 52nd minute of play. Pastor Mino came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Guillermo Kopola. But to his dismay, Guillermo Kopola quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With his leg Humberto Orland managed to avoid a goal in the 59thth minute, when Pegaso's Wilber McDonald fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Valentin Egun's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Humberto Orland firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque James in the 64th minute of play forced Pegaso's goalkeeper Pastor Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Pegaso's Humberto Orland threw himself towards the right post 69 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jarbas Dantas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Pastor Mino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roque James in the 76th minute of the match. Pastor Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Udalaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Rosendo Beti fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ..Villa Rugby Club..'s protests and gave Rosendo Beti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd minute, Rosendo Beti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd match minute, ..Villa Rugby Club.. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Beti to maneuver through the defense. ..Villa Rugby Club..'s Rosendo Beti got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute.
