The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Igor Txeru threw the ball into play from the sideline. Pegaso's Arnoldo Tibalt quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 7 minutes into the match, Capdevilla's goalkeeper Evelio Txeru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarbas Dantas. After a rather tough play, Capdevilla's Igor Txeru got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarbas Dantas in the 11th minute of play forced Capdevilla's goalkeeper Evelio Txeru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Evelio Txeru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Dantas in the 16th minute of play. Evelio Txeru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Curcio in the 17th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Aureliano Ihintza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Capdevilla and the Pegaso players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pegaso booed when Capdevilla was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aureliano Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capdevilla's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Urbano Curcio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Urbano Curcio got his second yellow card in the match during the 43rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Urbano Curcio hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th match minute, Pegaso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Nevada to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Igor Txeru sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pegaso's Pastor Mino didn't even have to move. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Esteban Rameriz made the kick off in the second half. Pegaso's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Delmar Tabor in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute Jarbas Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evelio Txeru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pastor Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Rameriz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 minutes, Valentin Egun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pegaso and the Capdevilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentin Egun hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Pegaso's Lisandro Ferrer got a free kick in the 69th minute. Aureliano Ihintza was shown his second yellow card after 73 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 73 played minutes Capdevilla got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Ihintza. 85 minutes into the match, Capdevilla's goal looked a bit too open when Jarbas Dantas came free, but Evelio Txeru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Pastor Mino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Pegaso. Delmar Tabor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Evelio Txeru. 3-0. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Capdevilla's goalkeeper Evelio Txeru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Capdevilla players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pegaso.
