The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Academia 1903's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo-Hernán Egoi came free, but Fidel Tadzio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Tadzio. Fidel Tadzio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 17 minutes of play, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Gustavo-Hernán Egoi made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fidel Tadzio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fidel Tadzio was out of position in the 20 minute of play, and Gustavo-Hernán Egoi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 24th minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Tadzio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute Gustavo-Hernán Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gustavo-Hernán Egoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fidel Tadzio was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. In the 38th minute, Higinio Bastia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Gonzo Pereyra notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio. Fidel Tadzio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd minute, Gustavo-Hernán Egoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Fernet Branca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. After 46 played minutes Sportivo Fernet Branca got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Tadzio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 56th minute Gustavo-Hernán Egoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gustavo-Hernán Egoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 63rd minute of play forced Academia 1903's goalkeeper Fidel Tadzio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fidel Tadzio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo-Hernán Egoi in the 65th minute of play. Placido Garin's late challenge caught a Sportivo Fernet Branca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Placido Garin helped the player get up and apologised. 69 minutes into the game, Romulo Lluis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Fidel Tadzio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 72nd minute Romulo Lluis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Tadzio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 76 minutes, Romulo Lluis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sportivo Fernet Branca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Romulo Lluis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Kaj Kisky was substituted for Gonzo Pereyra. The supporters of Sportivo Fernet Branca booed when Academia 1903 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Romulo Lluis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Tadzio. Academia 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Romulo Lluis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Fidel Tadzio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Academia 1903's Higinio Bastia got a free kick in the 90th minute. Academia 1903's Fidel Tadzio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Lluis in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Sportivo Fernet Branca's Romulo Lluis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fidel Tadzio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Romulo Lluis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fidel Tadzio having to make a save. Sportivo Fernet Branca's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
