The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 7th minute of the match Bicicleta F.C. got a corner. Pincha FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Segundo Feliu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edgardo Iruinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Bicicleta F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filippo Degrassi to maneuver through the defense. Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgardo Iruinea in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Bicicleta F.C. were awarded a corner. Segundo Feliu went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Bicicleta F.C.'s Segundo Feliu to fire away a dangerous shot which Gervasio Bortzaioriz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Ramos during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bicicleta F.C. booed when Pincha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leo Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pincha FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gilberto Fix hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Segundo Feliu to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Sotil came free, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pincha FC's zone, Hüsmen Vahat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gervasio Bortzaioriz came out of the goal and Hüsmen Vahat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Bortzaioriz came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Bicicleta F.C.'s Eleuterio Sotil. But to his dismay, Eleuterio Sotil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 69th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pincha FC's goalkeeper Gervasio Bortzaioriz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Edgardo Iruinea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gervasio Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Sotil in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute Edgardo Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Gervasio Bortzaioriz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bicicleta F.C.'s Eleuterio Sotil got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gilberto Nel fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pincha FC's protests and gave Gilberto Nel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Pincha FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Nel to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes of play, Bicicleta F.C.'s Segundo Feliu made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gervasio Bortzaioriz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Edgardo Iruinea came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Bicicleta F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgardo Iruinea couldn't finish the play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Bicicleta F.C. had played much better football throughout.
