After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Leo Ramos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rigoberto Quintana in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Bortzaioriz saved Pincha FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Fix in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Pincha FC booed when EL CHINGOLO P C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rigoberto Quintana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Quintana in the 42nd minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urbano Machado came free, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Urbano Machado made the kick off in the second half. Gervasio Bortzaioriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Urbano Machado in the 55th minute of play. EL CHINGOLO P C were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Pincha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Urbano Machado took the corner. Desiderio Beltza hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute, Nemesio Eneko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbano Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Urbano Machado, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Gilberto Fix's late challenge caught a EL CHINGOLO P C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Fix helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Gilberto Fix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The EL CHINGOLO P C supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing EL CHINGOLO P C would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
