Unidad de Matanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pincha FC the free kick. Gervasio Galo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Segundo Delfino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Jon's late challenge caught a Unidad de Matanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Jon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 20th minute, Julian Jon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Pincha FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gilberto Fix hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the game, Joaquin Lopez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Unidad de Matanza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pincha FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Unidad de Matanza's Joaquin Lopez got a free kick in the 26th minute. Segundo Delfino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Bortzaioriz having to interfere. After 35 minutes, Segundo Delfino made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervasio Bortzaioriz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Segundo Delfino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 39 minute of play. Gilberto Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Luciano Elivareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Segundo Delfino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Gervasio Bortzaioriz made a huge save. Cirilo Francesco's late challenge caught a Unidad de Matanza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cirilo Francesco helped the player get up and apologised. With a little luck, Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz got control of the ball when Segundo Delfino tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilberto Fix was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Unidad de Matanza's Gervasio Galo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gervasio Bortzaioriz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 55 minutes, Reynaldo Rios made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Pincha FC's Gervasio Bortzaioriz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Gervasio Bortzaioriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Rios, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Guaberto Henric managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unidad de Matanza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guaberto Henric was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Rios in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gervasio Bortzaioriz saved Pincha FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Pincha FC's Gilberto Nel got a free kick in the 67th minute. Remigio Bingen charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Remigio Bingen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 71 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pincha FC! Gervasio Bortzaioriz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reynaldo Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
